The Enemy

‘The Enemy,’  retorted Yossarian with weighted precision, ‘is anybody who’s going to get you killed, no matter which side he’s on, and that includes Colonel Cathcart’.

If Yossarian were following all these news about Bhopal, Union Carbide and Dow, he would have told Clevinger that the enemy is not somewhere in the US. The enemy should be extradited, of course. But not to India. From India.

But there is a catch. Catch 22. You can extradite the enemy. But Group has to approve the extradition.  And of course they are not going to extradite themselves.

Its naive that we trust on the enemy to save us.
